The hotel

Construction of a new hotel with 250 large rooms is planned north of the central square, between Nørre Havnegade and Alssund. The hotel will be based around a new Water-Park theme, and is expected to have widespread and diverse appeal to families, conference organisers, couples and groups.

Water park

A large indoor water park will be the main attraction. The facilities will be designed to attract various categories of visitors, and will include support for games, sport, exercise, relaxation and wellness. In addition to the main pool area, there will be a section with various types of saunas with different temperatures and humidity levels, and various types of showers, pools and relaxation rooms. The hotel will also include a wellness section, to satisfy the needs of visitors for care and relaxation.

Meetings and conferences

The hotel will also include a conference section, expected to be approx. 2,000 square metres in size. It will include meeting rooms in a variety of sizes. There will also be a multifunction room which can accommodate 800 dining visitors or 1,800 standing visitors, for concerts, conferences, and exhibitions.

Other activities

The hotel will also have facilities for a range of other daytime and night-time activities. Physical activities will include gymnastics, bowling, billiards, simulators, a games room for children, and much more. Other more cultural activities will include music, shows, dancing, a nightclub, a cinema, etc. All these activities will serve as attractions for guests at the hotel, as well as local residents.
