Multicultural centre

The multicultural centre lies north of Ewers Warehouse near the water park, close to the thriving central square featuring a number of facilities to serve the general public, such as a theme hotel, an art hall, and retail stores, clinics and offices.

The centre will house many facilities, and is intended to be a place for information and exchange. The final design of the building has not yet been decided, but the content and activities will be based around the art hall's communication of electronic art.

A library of the future is one of the activities that will be housed in the multicultural centre. The library will serve as a central meeting place within the network formed by the building tenants, the art hall, Sønderjyllands Kunstskole, visitors and stakeholders.

The multicultural centre will also provide a setting for creative entrepreneurs and companies working with the experience economy.

The multicultural centre will have over 4,000 square metres of floor space. Construction is expected to start in 2013 or 2014.
