Multicultural centre

The multicultural centre will lie south of the central square, close to Ewers Warehouse. The centre will house many facilities, and will serve as a library and a place for information and exchange. There will be room for advanced learning technology, as well as more traditional uses such as exhibitions and reading areas. There will be a small park area between the building and Alssund, creating space for cultural events both indoors and outdoors.

The size of the new building has been determined so as to respect the historical Ewers Warehouse. The warehouse can be incorporated into the new building, becoming part of the multicultural centre, or it can be used for other purposes such as office space.
